History
Founded in 1987 to meet the educational needs of the expatriate children in Cyprus, the Arthur Rimbaud French School now accepts French and French-speaking children from the age of two years. The trilingual curriculum is approved by the French and Cypriot education ministries.
Objective: a springboard of Europe
At the school, the study of language is a priority in line with the Council of Europe’s policy to encourage multilingualism in a linguistically and culturally diverse society. Therefore, the Arthur Rimbaud French School is developing a French-Cypriot program to allow Cypriot families to choose a curriculum which provides the required amount of instruction in Greek and is approved by the Cypriot authorities.
Because of the school’s high standards, students leaving Cyprus can enter easily into other French schools abroad. Graduating students will be qualified to enter into French and European universities.
